Control How Much It Clicks
You’re in control of exactly when to stop:

Is It Allowed?
Cookie Clicker is a single-player idle game — there’s no multiplayer, no ranking, no anti-cheat. Using an auto clicker is a personal choice. The game’s creator, Orteil, has publicly said he doesn’t mind if players automate — it’s your save file.
That said: if you want to unlock the “cheated cookies taste awful” achievement on purpose, go wild. If you want to avoid it, steer clear of the console and stick with just auto-clicking.
